Cruisin’ Tikis Cape Coral: A Fun Way to Explore the City by Water

Looking for a different kind of date night in Cape Coral? We spent ours cruising the canals with Cruisin’ Tikis Cape Coral. It turned out to be the perfect double date. It was also one of those local experiences that reminds you just how much fun there is to have in our own city.
An afternoon storm had rolled through before our cruise. In true Florida fashion, it cleared just in time. The rain cooled everything down and left us with a beautiful evening to be out on the water.
What to Expect on a Cruisin’ Tikis Cape Coral Tour
Cruisin’ Tikis Cape Coral offers a relaxed way to explore the city’s canals with your favorite people. Each tiki boat seats up to six guests. That makes it a great option for couples, families or a small group of friends.
They also have two boats available. This means they can accommodate groups of up to 12 people.

The cruise is BYOB, with a cooler filled with ice ready when you arrive. The Bluetooth sound system also lets you set the mood with your own playlist.
All you really need to do is bring your favorite people, your drinks and your music. Then, settle in while your USCG-certified captain handles the cruising.
Tours leave from Monarcas Authentic Mexican Cuisine Bar & Grill at 1604 SE 46th Street. From there, you’ll cruise through the canals and take in the waterfront views. You’ll also pass local spots like Slipaway Food Truck Park and Marina.

Cape Coral cruise options include a 90-minute public cruise, a two-hour tiki bar cruise and a two-hour sunset cruise. Private charters are also available if you want the boat to yourselves.
The tiki has a roof, so a little rain doesn’t automatically end the fun. Cruises may still be delayed or rescheduled when lightning or severe weather moves through. The captain makes the final call to keep everyone safe.
Our Experience
Our cruise had such an easygoing atmosphere. We could talk, laugh, enjoy our drinks and turn up the music without feeling rushed.
It was a simple plan for a double date. Still, it felt like a completely different way to experience Cape Coral.
Captain Nick, also known as Captain Pineapple, was fantastic. His personality added even more fun to the experience. At the same time, he made everyone feel comfortable and taken care of.

Between the cooler weather after the storm, the views along the canals, the music and the company, everything came together for a really memorable evening.
The team also owns Cruisin’ Tikis locations throughout Florida. You can tell they know how to create an experience that is fun, organized and easy from the moment you arrive.
The Cape Coral cruise still feels completely local. It gives you a new way to see the canals and waterfront spots that make our city special.
Who Should Book a Tiki Cruise?
Cruisin’ Tikis Cape Coral can work for so many different occasions. Book it for a fun afternoon with family, a sunset cruise or a double date.
It can also be a fun choice for a girls’ night on the water, a birthday or a casual celebration with friends.

The charters are family-friendly, too, so kids can join the fun. With room for up to six people per boat, it’s intimate enough to enjoy time together without a big crowd.
Guests should arrive at the dock 15 minutes before departure. This gives the captain time to store drinks, review the safety guidelines and get everyone ready to head out.
Bottom Line
Cruisin’ Tikis Cape Coral is such a fun, laid-back way to enjoy the city from the water. Bring your drinks and bring your people. Then, let them take care of the cooler, the ice and the ride.
Whether you’re planning a family outing, a sunset cruise, a double date or a girls’ night on the water, this is one Cape Coral experience you’ll want to book.
Captain Pineapple and the Cruisin’ Tikis team know how to make it a great time.
