Bayside Burger & Beer Review: A Local Cape Coral Spot for Burgers, Drinks & More

We went to Bayside Burger & Beer, a local spot with huge burgers, daily specials, live music, and billiards tables. Throughout the week, you can enjoy activities like music bingo and pool tournaments at this sports bar. They have daily specials including Taco Tuesday, $1 Wing Wednesday, and all-day happy hour on Sundays. The restaurant is very spacious, with a full bar serving up draft beers and signature cocktails.

We started with the Bayside Tiki cocktail, which had vodka, mango, pineapple juice, lime juice, and Blue Kinky, and a Yuengling Lager on draft. The cocktail was fruity, just how I like it. It came out in nice ombré tones of blue, yellow, and green, topped with an umbrella and maraschino cherry.

Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls

For our appetizer, we were torn between the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls or the corned beef and cheese egg rolls. Our server, Caroline, told us they were both great. However, the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls are very popular and ordered more frequently.

We decided to give those a try, and we are so happy we did! It came with 3 massive egg rolls cut in half. They were oozing with cheese and overflowing with juicy meat. The exterior was perfectly crispy.

They are everything I wanted and more, and I know I will be craving them frequently. I have to say, the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls are a must-order at Bayside Burger & Beer. They easily make my top 3 favorite appetizers ever!

Burgers at Bayside Burger & Beer

Now, for the main courses, we opted for burgers since that’s what they’re known for. However, if you’re not a burger-lover, they have plenty of other options like sandwiches, wings, entrees, and salads.

I ordered the Brisket Burger, piled high with juicy brisket, a burger patty, cheddar jack cheese, grilled onions, and smoky barbecue sauce. My guest ordered the Bayside Burger, which had pulled pork, barbecue sauce, a burger patty, cheddar jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion.

Both burgers came on beautiful brioche buns and were served with our choice of one side. I got the classic French fries, which were super crispy and perfectly salted. My guest got the sweet potato fries, which are a slight upcharge.

The meals were a generous portion for a fair price. The burgers were delicious, but we may order the barbecue sauce on the side next time since it was a little sauce-heavy.

Or, we may try some of their other unique burgers next time, like the truffle burger, Hangover Burger topped with a fried egg and bacon, or the fig and brie burger!

For anyone looking for the best burgers in Cape Coral, Bayside Burger & Beer has plenty of unique options to try.

One thing is for certain: we will definitely be ordering those Philly cheesesteak egg rolls every time we return! And we will definitely give the corned beef and cheese egg rolls a try as well.

Our server, Caroline, was very friendly and helped us navigate the menu. Bayside Burger & Beer is a casual spot to bite into a juicy burger or play billiards. With the food, drinks, live music, and daily specials, it is a fun option for Cape Coral dining.
