Cape Coral Dining: Why Stevie Tomato’s Is a Must-Try for Philly Cheesesteaks & Wings
We went to Stevie Tomato’s Sports Page, a local Cape Coral sports bar that hosts events like karaoke, trivia night, and music bingo. The restaurant is massive and has countless TVs to watch your favorite games on.

Before we headed to Stevie Tomato’s, we made a post in our Facebook group asking what we should order here. Dozens of responses said the Philly cheesesteak. We heard the hype about the Philly cheesesteak prior, so we were definitely expecting this response.
Stevie Tomato’s advertises Chicago-style pizza, but it seems above all else, the Philly cheesesteak is the most beloved item on the menu, and arguably one of the most beloved cheesesteaks in Cape Coral, and maybe even SWFL. We felt that it was our duty as Cape Coral Reviewed to give it a try and see what all the hype was about.
Now, I have to admit, as someone who was born and raised in South Jersey, I made frequent Philly trips for the sole purpose of eating the best cheesesteaks in the world. I was very skeptical to try this cheesesteak. I mean, how good could a PHILLY cheesesteak really be in SWFL? Well, I literally ate those words.
Our server, Reagen, asked us if we wanted white American cheese or Cheese Wiz on the Philly. Without hesitation, Marissa and I both chose white American cheese, and we felt relieved to be on the same page. We also opted for the seeded roll. The cheesesteak is $20, which is a bit steep, but when the behemoth of a sandwich came out, the price tag made more sense.

The massive sandwich came absolutely loaded with tender meat and covered in cheese. The roll was fresh, delicious, and sturdy enough to keep the sandwich together, without being hard to bite into. This, in fact, was a fantastic Philly cheesesteak, and made this Jersey girl fall in love at first bite. It is absolutely the best cheesesteak I’ve had since I moved here about 3 years ago, and it even earned a happy dance from Marissa. The Philly came with crispy fries, and they were also very good.

We also ordered chicken wings. There were so many sauces and dry rubs to choose from. You can choose from garlic parmesan, hot honey, sweet & spicy bacon, mild, lemon pepper, mango habanero, sriracha, and so many others. You’ll definitely find a flavor you like! We got six teriyaki wings and six Gator Dust wings.
When we asked our server what Gator Dust was, she told us it was a mixture of pretty much every seasoning in the spice aisle. We asked if it was spicy, and she said no, so we wanted to give it a try. The wings came out and were very meaty, hot, tender, and juicy. The teriyaki wings weren’t overly sauced, which we were pleased to see.
Both the teriyaki and the Gator Dust wings were delicious, but to our surprise, the Gator Dust wings were the clear winner. Dipped in ranch, they made for the perfect bite. You could taste all of the different spices together that worked in perfect unison with one another to please your taste buds. Yum.
If you’re looking for a great Philly cheesesteak or delicious wings in Cape Coral, make sure you give Stevie Tomato’s a try. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
