Ice Sssscreamin recently opened its second Cape Coral location on Nicholas Parkway. It brings its colorful atmosphere, creative ice cream and viral desserts to another part of the city.

We walked into the new shop expecting to grab some ice cream. Instead, we discovered realistic fruit-shaped cakes, homemade pistachio baklava and an over-the-top Dubai chocolate cake unlike anything we’ve tried locally.

We couldn’t just admire them—we had to crack one open for the full ASMR moment. Breaking through the delicate outer shell revealed a soft, moist center. It was filled with rich vanilla undertones and real fruit filling. That first crack was almost as satisfying as the first bite.

We tried the strawberry and raspberry. Meanwhile, the lemon and coffee had already sold out, giving me a good reason to return. Other flavors may include mango, blueberry and pistachio, depending on availability.

Creating these pastries required plenty of patience. In fact, we learned that it took eight hours of trial and error to complete the first successful fruit cake. That work shows in every realistic detail.

The pistachio baklava is made in-house using a slightly different approach from traditional Greek-style baklava. Instead of walnuts, it features additional thin, flaky layers and pistachios.

The result is a delicate pastry with plenty of crunch and rich pistachio flavor.

Ice Sssscreamin proudly serves Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream, a family-owned brand that has been crafting ice cream in Madison, Wisconsin, since 1962. The ice cream is made with real cane sugar and Wisconsin milk.

The case includes familiar favorites alongside creative flavors such as Cookie Monster, Kitty Kitty Bang Bang, Yippee Skippee and Brownie Cascade.

One of the most memorable flavors is Exhausted Parent®. It’s a bourbon-spiked espresso ice cream with bittersweet chocolate chunks. Vegan Peanut Butter and Vegan Vanilla Chocolate Chip are also available for anyone looking for a dairy-free option.

During our visit, a family walked in, loved their ice cream and promised they would return very soon. That moment perfectly captured the welcoming experience the new shop is creating.

Ice Sssscreamin’s original Cape Coral Parkway location is known for its bold flowers, glowing lights and community gatherings. During the holiday season, the decorations reach an entirely new level. The Nicholas Parkway shop brings that same playful energy to another part of Cape Coral.
