Stone’s Throw Kitchen: A Standout Experience Among the Best Cape Coral Restaurants
Stone’s Throw Kitchen has become a standout spot in Cape Coral for locals looking for more than just a typical dinner out. It offers chic décor, live instrumental music, top-tier cocktails, and elevated food. As a result, it has quickly earned its place among the most memorable Cape Coral restaurants.
Located right on Cape Coral Parkway, the restaurant immediately sets the tone before you even walk through the doors. The front patio seating offers a perfect people-watching spot. Stylish tables feature gold-embellished logo details that add to the upscale aesthetic. Out back, the atmosphere shifts into something more intimate, with cozy couch seating that feels ideal for cocktails and conversation.
Both entrances feel inviting and thoughtfully designed, creating a dining experience that feels romantic, intimate, and effortlessly chic from start to finish.
Inside, the experience continues with live instrumental music adding another layer to the atmosphere. During our visit, live flute performances drifted through the space, blending classical and contemporary melodies that gave the evening a relaxed, upscale energy. Stone’s Throw also features rotating musicians on select nights, including violinists and other instrumental performers that elevate the experience.
It’s the kind of place where you naturally slow down, settle in, and enjoy the night.
The cocktail program stands out right away. Even small details, like choosing between a dark or creamy espresso martini, show the level of care behind each drink. Signature cocktails are balanced, thoughtful, and elevated without feeling overly complicated.
Stone’s Throw clearly focuses on creating a full dining experience rather than just serving drinks.
We started with the brussels sprouts appetizer, and it was a standout dish. Made with candied pecans, smoked bacon, dried cranberries, and honey mustard, it delivered a balance of sweet, smoky, and savory flavors with a perfect crunch.

Next was the short rib mac & cheese, which features cheese stuffed tortellini, parmesan béchamel, braised short rib, and rosemary demi glaze. It is rich, comforting, and one of the most memorable dishes on the menu.
For the main course, we tried the Steaks & Stones Sunday special. The meal includes a house or Caesar salad, an 8oz filet or 14oz ribeye, baked potato, and a signature compound butter steak finish. The filet was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, pairing well with the rich butter and classic sides.

Cape Coral happy hour runs daily from 4 PM to 6 PM. This makes Stone’s Throw a strong option for after-work drinks, small plates, or date night. It also contributes to Cape Coral nightlife, offering live music, cocktails, and a refined evening atmosphere.
Beyond regular dining, Stone’s Throw also hosts curated tasting experiences and specialty nights. One upcoming highlight is their Bourbon & Cigar Night on May 28 at 6 PM. The event features a curated bourbon lineup including Widow Jane, Rittenhouse Rye, Old Fitzgerald, and Elijah Craig selections.
These events reinforce its position as one of the most unique Cape Coral restaurants for social dining experiences.
Sunday–Thursday: 4 PM – 9 PM
Friday–Saturday: 4 PM – 10 PM

Bottom line: Stone’s Throw Kitchen continues to stand out among Cape Coral restaurants, offering one of the most complete dining experiences in the area. It blends food, cocktails, live music, and events into a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. It is easily considered one of the best restaurants in Cape Coral for guests looking for a memorable dining experience.
